Homework 1. Homework is a vital part of our children’s education. 2. Homework, with rare exceptions, should not require more than 2 1/2 hours of work each night. 3. Students should do every homework assignment.

Make-up Work

It is the student’s responsibility to make-up necessary work missed. It is the student’s duty to ask and obtain any assignments missed during an absence. All work missed (except pre-approved absences) must be made up within two times the number of days absent. (Example: If two days are missed then the student has four days to complete the missed assignments.) Full credit will be given for make-up work that is turned in by the deadline; otherwise, no credit will be given. If the absence is related to an extended illness, the teacher, administrator, student, and parent will work out a schedule that will give the student time to make up the work.
